- MEAF6, also known as CENP-28, EAF6, and NY-SAR-91, is a chromatin modification-related protein and a core component of several histone acetyltransferase complexes.
- It is a component of the NuA4 histone acetyltransferase complex, which acetylates histone H4 and H2A, thereby modulating chromatin structure and promoting transcriptional activation. Related references: PMID:14966270
