• Lymphocyte antigen 6E (LY6E) is a GPI-anchored cell surface protein belonging to the Ly-6/urokinase-type plasminogen activator receptor superfamily, also known as RIG-E, SCA-2, and TSA-1.
• It functions as a regulator of T-lymphocyte proliferation, differentiation, and activation by modulating T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling through interaction with CD3Z/CD247, affecting CD3Z phosphorylation.
