Biological Background: LAPTM4B Function and Localization
- LAPTM4B, also known as lysosomal-associated transmembrane protein 4-beta (LAPTM4β) and LC27, is encoded by the LAPTM4B gene in humans.

- For ELISA, titration is recommended to determine the optimal coating concentration and detection range; include proper controls for nonspecific binding.
- As the antibody cross-reacts with mouse and rat LAPTM4B, it may be suitable for interspecies studies; however, verify target sequence homology in the immunogen region.
