Experimental Guidance and Technical Tips
- The immunogen is a synthetic peptide spanning amino acids 100-200 of human KISS1R (NP_115940.2). For Western blot (WB), use whole-cell lysates from tissues with positive expression, such as placenta or pancreas; expect a band around 43 kDa.
- In immunohistochemistry (IHC-P), antigen retrieval may be needed, and proper controls should be included. For immunofluorescence (IF/ICC), permeabilization protocols should be optimized.
- Since this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody, lot-to-lot variability may exist; validate the antibody in the intended application and species before large-scale experiments. Store at -20°C upon receipt (shipped on ice bags).
