- KIFC1 (also known as HSET or KNSL2) is a kinesin-like protein belonging to the kinesin-14 family of motor proteins.
- It functions as a minus end-directed microtubule-dependent motor essential for bipolar spindle formation during mitosis (PubMed:15843429).
