Biological Background: KDM1/LSD1 Function and Localization

  • KDM1/LSD1 (Lysine-specific histone demethylase 1A), also designated BHC110 or AOF2, is a FAD-dependent amine oxidase belonging to the flavin monoamine oxidase family.
