  • JARID2 is a Jumonji/ARID domain-containing protein 2 (also known as JMJ, DIDDF), which functions as a chromatin regulator critical for embryonic development.
  • Functions as an accessory subunit of the Polycomb Repressive Complex 2 (PRC2), mediating histone H3 lysine 27 trimethylation (H3K27me3) and recruiting PRC2 to target genes in embryonic stem cells (PubMed:20075857, PubMed:29499137, PubMed:31959557).
