  • IRS2 (Insulin receptor substrate 2) is a signaling adapter protein that mediates signal transduction from insulin receptor (INSR) and insulin-like growth factor I receptor (IGF1R), playing critical roles in development, growth, glucose homeostasis, and lipid metabolism.
