Biological Background: Inhibin beta A (INHBA) Function and Localization

• INHBA encodes the inhibin beta A chain, a secreted glycoprotein of the TGF-beta superfamily. The full-length precursor is proteolytically processed to release the mature, bioactive form, which functions as a growth factor and hormone.
