Biological Background: IL8 Function and Localization
- Interleukin-8 (IL-8, CXCL8), also designated as neutrophil-activating protein 1 (NAP-1), monocyte-derived neutrophil chemotactic factor (MDNCF), and granulocyte chemotactic protein 1 (GCP-1), is a member of the CXC chemokine family.
