Biological Background: IL2RB Function and Localization

• IL2RB encodes the beta subunit of the interleukin-2 receptor, also known as CD122, p70-75, and IL-15 receptor beta (IL15RB).
• Functions as a receptor for IL-2, mediating receptor-mediated endocytosis and transducing mitogenic signals.
