  • Insulin-like growth factor 2 mRNA-binding protein 2 (IGF2BP2), also known as IMP2, p62, or VICKZ family member 2, is an RNA-binding protein that plays critical roles in mRNA transport, localization, and stability.
  • IGF2BP2 recruits target transcripts into cytoplasmic messenger ribonucleoprotein (mRNP) complexes, enabling mRNA transport and transient storage, and protects them from endonucleolytic cleavage and microRNA-mediated degradation.
