Biological Background: ICAM3 Function and Localization

• ICAM3 (Intercellular adhesion molecule 3), also designated CD50 or ICAM-R, is a single-pass type I membrane protein and member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, characterized by multiple immunoglobulin-like domains and intramolecular disulfide bonds.
