  • For Western blotting, test under both reducing and non-reducing conditions. The observed protein weight may vary (41–49 kDa) due to glycosylation; the unmodified predicted molecular weight is approximately 49 kDa.
  • Because of high sequence homology among IgG subclasses, the antibody may cross-react with other human IgG subtypes. Validate specificity using appropriate isotype controls and purified proteins.
  • For ELISA applications, the antibody can be used for detection of human IgG3 in biological samples. Consider pairing with a capture antibody against a non-overlapping epitope for sandwich ELISA.
