Biological Background: CEACAM6 Function and Localization
- CEACAM6 (Carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 6), also known as NCA, CEAL, or CD66c, is a cell surface glycoprotein that mediates calcium- and fibronectin-independent homophilic and heterophilic cell adhesion with other CEACAM family members such as CEACAM5 and CEACAM8.
