CD39/ENTPD1 is a membrane-bound ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase that catalyzes the sequential hydrolysis of nucleoside triphosphates (NTPs) and diphosphates (NDPs) to nucleoside monophosphates (NMPs), thereby regulating extracellular nucleotide levels.
