- HS3ST3A1 encodes for heparan sulfate glucosamine 3-O-sulfotransferase 3A1 (3-OST-3A), a member of the sulfotransferase family that utilizes 3'-phospho-5'-adenylyl sulfate (PAPS) as a sulfate donor.
