Biological Background: Ghd 7.1 Function and Localization
- Ghd 7.1 (PRR37) is a probable transcription factor that acts as a repressor of flowering under long day conditions. It controls flowering time by negatively regulating the expression of HD3A and, acting downstream of phytochrome B, represses EHD1, an activator of the flowering promoters HD3A and RFT1.
