• Gamma-synuclein (SNCG) is a 13331 Da protein belonging to the synuclein family, also known as breast cancer-specific gene 1 protein (BCSG1), persyn, and synoretin. It shares structural homology with alpha- and beta-synuclein and features characteristic repeat motifs.
