• GALP, or galanin-like peptide, is a hypothalamic neuropeptide that binds to G-protein-coupled galanin receptors (GALR1, GALR2, GALR3), implicating it in central homeostatic processes, including regulation of gonadotropin-releasing hormone secretion.
