- FCRL5 (Fc receptor-like protein 5), also designated FcRH5, CD307, or IRTA2, is a type I transmembrane receptor of the immunoglobulin superfamily involved in B-cell regulation.
- It functions as a dual-modality B-cell coreceptor: in the absence of complement receptor 2 (CR2) stimulation, FCRL5 inhibits BCR signaling; however, when co-engaged with CR2, it potentiates calcium flux, illustrating context-dependent positive or negative regulation (PubMed:30107486).
