Biological Background: EHD2 Function and Localization

• EHD2 (EH domain-containing protein 2, also known as PAST2) is a member of the EHD family of ATPases involved in membrane trafficking.
• Functions as an ATP- and membrane-binding protein that controls membrane reorganization and tubulation upon ATP hydrolysis.
