Biological Background: EB3/MAPRE3 Function and Localization

• Microtubule-associated protein RP/EB family member 3 (EB3/MAPRE3), also known as EB1 protein family member 3 (EBF3) or End-binding protein 3 (EB3), is a plus-end tracking protein (+TIP) that binds microtubule plus-ends and promotes microtubule growth.
