  • The DRTF1/E2F complex, involving E2F2, controls the progression from G1 to S phase of the cell cycle.
  • Specifically interacts with the retinoblastoma protein (RB1) in a cell-cycle-dependent manner.
  • Predominantly localized in the nucleus.
