  • For Western blot (WB), the predicted molecular weight is approximately 38 kDa (calculated from amino acid sequence). Glycosylation may cause the observed band to migrate slightly higher. Use appropriate controls.
  • For immunofluorescence/immunocytochemistry (IF/ICC), as DKK3 is a secreted protein, including a Golgi-blocking agent (e.g., BFA) may enhance intracellular staining if retention is desired; otherwise, consider analyzing secreted DKK3 in cell supernatants via ELISA.
  • The antibody is tested for ELISA applications; it can be used for antigen capture or detection depending on the assay format. Perform cross-reactivity tests with your particular matrix.
  • Despite reported cross-reactivity with mouse and rat, the sequence homology in the immunogen region is high; still, validate reactivity in species-specific tissues.
