  • DHX9, also known as RNA helicase A, DEAH box protein 9, leukophysin (LKP), and nuclear DNA helicase II (NDH II), is a multifunctional DEAH-box RNA helicase.
  • Possesses ATP-dependent 3'→5' helicase activity unwinding a broad range of substrates including dsDNA, dsRNA, DNA:RNA hybrids, forks, D-loops, R-loops, triplex DNA, and G-quadruplexes; requires a 3' single-stranded tail for entry.
