Biological Background: CRCP Function and Localization

• CRCP (C17/RCP/RPC9) is the DNA-directed RNA polymerase III subunit RPC9, and also serves as an accessory protein for the calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor, where it is known as CGRP-RCP.
