Plays a central role in cell cycle regulation and DNA damage-induced G2 arrest, participating in both p53-dependent and p53-independent pathways (PubMed:9106657).

Binds to and inhibits cyclin-dependent kinase activity, preventing phosphorylation of critical substrates and blocking cell cycle progression.

- For immunoprecipitation, validate complex formation with CDKs; a cross‑reactive band may appear due to the polyclonal nature.
- Cross‑reactivity with mouse has been confirmed, but performance in other applications or species should be verified.
