- CD25 (also known as p55, IL-2 receptor alpha chain, TAC antigen) is the alpha subunit of the high-affinity interleukin-2 receptor, encoded by the IL2RA gene.

- For Western blot (WB), the predicted molecular weight is approximately 31 kDa, but glycosylation may cause bands to appear at higher molecular weights. Consider using appropriate positive controls (e.g., activated T-cell lysates).
- For immunohistochemistry (IHC-P) and immunofluorescence (IF-P), paraffin-embedded sections may require antigen retrieval; test in relevant tissue samples known to express CD25, such as lymphoid tissues.
