- Basal cell adhesion molecule (BCAM, also known as CD239, Lutheran blood group glycoprotein, or Auberger B antigen) is encoded by the BCAM gene (LU, MSK19).
- Functions as both a receptor and an adhesion molecule, playing a crucial role in cell adhesion, motility, migration, and invasion.
