Biological Background: CD166/ALCAM Function and Localization

• CD166/ALCAM (activated leukocyte cell adhesion molecule) is a transmembrane glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin superfamily, with multiple isoforms arising from alternative splicing, including a secreted variant that antagonizes membrane-bound functions.

Experimental Guidance and Technical Tips
