Biological Background: Basigin (CD147) Function and Localization
- Basigin (CD147), also known as HT7 antigen, EMMPRIN, or gp42, is a transmembrane glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin superfamily encoded by the Bsg gene (UniProt: P18572).
