- Integrin alpha-X (CD11c) is a member of the integrin family and the alpha chain of the leukocyte adhesion receptor p150,95 (integrin alpha-X/beta-2). It is also known as CD11 antigen-like family member C, Leu M5, and leukocyte adhesion glycoprotein p150,95 alpha chain.
- Integrin alpha-X/beta-2 serves as a receptor for fibrinogen, recognizing the G-P-R sequence, and mediates cell-cell interactions during inflammatory responses, particularly crucial for monocyte adhesion and chemotaxis.
