- CCT8 is the theta subunit of the chaperonin-containing T-complex (TRiC), a multi-subunit molecular chaperone complex. Alternative names include CCT-theta, renal carcinoma antigen NY-REN-15, and chaperonin containing TCP1 subunit 8.
