Biological Background: CCT6A Function and Localization

• CCT6A encodes the zeta subunit of the chaperonin-containing T-complex (TRiC), also known as TCP-1 ring complex, a eukaryotic cytosolic chaperonin essential for folding of newly synthesized polypeptides.
