Biological Background: BRD2 Function and Localization

• BRD2 (Bromodomain-containing protein 2), also known as O27.1.1, is a member of the bromodomain and extra-terminal (BET) family, characterized by two N-terminal bromodomains and an extra-terminal domain. It is encoded by the human gene BRD2 (Gene ID: 6046).
