Biological Background: BRCA1 Function and Localization

- For Western blot, expect a major band around 208 kDa. Optimize gel percentage (e.g., 6–8%) and transfer conditions for high molecular weight proteins.
- For ELISA, the antibody can be used for capture or detection; optimal dilution and pairing must be determined empirically.
