Biological Background: BMP2 Function and Localization

For Western blotting, a band near 45 kDa is expected, consistent with the predicted molecular weight.
• This polyclonal antibody is applicable for WB and ELISA. For WB, we recommend optimizing the primary antibody dilution and validating in your specific sample system, considering endogenous BMP2 expression levels and tissue-specific abundance.
• In ELISA, the antibody may serve as a capture or detection reagent. Pairing with a suitable matched antibody against a non-overlapping epitope could enhance sensitivity for sandwich ELISAs detecting native BMP2.
