Encoded by the INTS13 gene (aliases: ASUN, C12orf11, GCT1), Integrator complex subunit 13 (INTS13) is also known as cell cycle regulator Mat89Bb homolog, germ cell tumor 1, and protein asunder homolog.

As a component of the integrator complex, INTS13 contributes to transcription termination by RNA polymerase II (Pol II) in the promoter-proximal region of genes. It participates in the quality checkpoint that drives premature termination of unfavorably configured transcripts via CTD dephosphorylation, nascent RNA degradation, and Pol II release.
