- ASB17 (Ankyrin repeat and SOCS box protein 17) is a member of the ASB protein family, containing N-terminal ankyrin repeats and a C-terminal SOCS box domain.
- It is predicted to function as a substrate-recognition component of an SCF-like ECS (Elongin Cullin SOCS-box) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex, facilitating ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins.
