Biological Background: ALOX15B Function and Localization

• ALOX15B (polyunsaturated fatty acid lipoxygenase ALOX15B), also known as 15-lipoxygenase 2 (15-LOX-2), catalyzes the stereo-specific peroxidation of free and esterified polyunsaturated fatty acids, generating bioactive lipid mediators (Probable).
