- ALDH1A1 (Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1) is a member of the aldehyde dehydrogenase family, encoded by the ALDH1A1 gene (also known as ALDC, ALDH1, PUMB1). It is a cytosolic NAD-dependent enzyme.
