- AHA1 (Activator of 90 kDa heat shock protein ATPase homolog 1), also known as p38, acts as a co-chaperone of HSP90AA1, enhancing its ATPase and chaperone activity, and competes with inhibitory co-chaperones such as TSC1. Related references: PMID:29127155
