Biological Background: ADRA2C Function and Localization
- Encoded by the ADRA2C gene, the protein is also known as Alpha-2C adrenergic receptor, Alpha-2 adrenergic receptor subtype C4, and Alpha-2CAR. It belongs to the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family.
