  • ACSL5 (encoded by the ACSL5 gene) is a long-chain-fatty-acid--CoA ligase 5, also known as arachidonate--CoA ligase or LACS 5.

  • Activates exogenous fatty acids for triacylglycerol synthesis and intracellular storage.
