Biological Background: ACSL3 Function and Localization

• ACSL3, also known as long-chain acyl-CoA synthetase 3 (LACS3), is a fatty acid CoA ligase that activates long-chain fatty acids for lipid synthesis and beta-oxidation. Related references: PMID:22633490
