Biological Background: Abhd6 Function and Localization

• ABHD6 (abhydrolase domain-containing protein 6) is a monoacylglycerol lipase that preferentially hydrolyzes medium-chain saturated monoacylglycerols, including the endocannabinoid 2-arachidonoylglycerol (2-AG). Related references: PMID:18096503 PMID:20657592
